The D2000S put simply is a D2000 without the focusing light and rarely used 'AUTO' function, both of which are removed. It has an amazing price point, is a very simple to use, but is in fact a very advanced TTL flash for use with all compact digital systems by Nikon, Canon, Sony and Olympus. The technology is patent pending and allows for full auto TTL flash photography, plus TTL with flash exposure compensation & a heap of full manual control as well. Same external strobe body as the other units by Inon, so it remains ultra small at just 100mm in length. The D2000S is easily the world's best value TTL compact digital strobe and is the perfect partner for existing D2000 owners looking for a second strobe.

The D2000 is a very simple to use, but is in fact a very advanced TTL flash for use with all compact digital systems by Nikon, Canon, Sony and Olympus. The Z240 is effectively a D2000 with a Nikon 5 pin style socket fitted to it allowing use with both SLR housings/Nikonos cameras with an approximate 20% increase in maximum output, plus as per everything with the revolutionary D2000. The Z240 is a TTL strobe for compact digital systems, Nikon 35mm film SLR and Nikonos systems. With both Nikon, Olympus and Canon digital SLR cameras, the strobe is still a manual only unit with 13 power steps, (except with specific NEXUS & OLYMPUS SLR housings where full TTL/TTL with flash exposure compensation & 13 manual power steps is all available). Same external strobe body as the other units by Inon, so it remains ultra small at just 100mm in length. A truly wonderful strobe and a very nice release by Inon.
